Consider this.
Someone says, "Masters are weak today, I think the immortals should give them a pair of demons to tote around because there just aren't enough of them logging on." Or someone says, "You know, the Sylvan Warders are having a hard time against the Empire, maybe you should code up a new set of spells for them so they can each have a personal guardian angel to help them out."
If you're an experienced player of the game you would consider these requests ridiculous and would hope that the person asking was joking. A lot of time and effort goes into coding new things, enough so that there are no spare cycles to just "whip out a few powers" so some cabal in a slump can have a good time.
However.
The guy may have no idea what he's talking about, so I explained to him that this was not going to happen. I fail to see anything rude about the post. If I had said, "No way, you goofy mutherfucker!" that would have been one thing. I think instead I gave a pretty clear and "this is not negotiable" response.
