1) Duergar, being rather dwarf-ish, are short, stocky, burly types. Hard to picture them doing difficult kicks and other martial arts maneuvers.

2) Stats-wise, they have a max Dex of 21. All other assassins have a max Dex of 23-25. They might not be agile enough.
