In a lightbind helpfile, it states that Angel often come willingly to the conjurer if the conjurer is in fact good. However, they become belligerant if they are not successfully bound. This can be explained as the Angel becomes angry if the Conjurer is not powerful enough, and therefore not worthy of bringing the Angel to the mortal plane to fight.

I do agree highly that Angels should refuse to attack paladins, and perhaps good shamans.

Even lightwalking conjurers can conjure demons, you know.
