Actually arials are one of those things that even somewhat in debate with the immortals....there's not really a general concensus some of us think they look like the Hawkmen from Flash Gordon, others have pictured them as very bird-like humans, and some have seen them as humans with bird-heads and wings. *shrug* I personally have no qualms with letting all of the above exist...think of it as the equivilant of us having different skin tones....arials have different head-shapes and various amount of feather coating.
As for using pictures you've seen as to what arials look like, keep in mind that those are opinions. While I like the picture of Shok in the archive, it's not at all how I pictured him :P Anyway...just thought I'd ramble about that a bit....now I'm done.
