Hmm, not sure about this one. Perhaps you mean the IP address while you're on the net? If so, and if you use windoze, go to the prompt and type in 'winipcfg'. I don't know much about IRC besides the fact you don't need to use 'say' to communicate, so sorry if this didn't help :)
