A while before I deleted, I saw a Dwarf warrior dawnie just sitting there on the mountain in the Dwarf forest area. He sat there for a while. Part of Erlien's rp was that she was MILITANTLY feminine. She hated men. She was also chaotic evil a berserker and an arial. So here she see's a warrior dawnie dirt-crawlin MAN (3 ranks up on me). So I attack and kill him. Afterwards, because I find a few potions in his sack, I tell the cabal he had potions in his sack, just to let other ragers know not to have such friendly relations with him.
Well, to my suprise, an immortal over the cabal basically asks me to speak to him, so I immediately drop what I am doing and talk with the Immortal. I agree with him, what I did, not knowing my rp reasons for it, looked like I was just pk happy for no reason. I tried to walk back to the Village so I could talk in piece, but I was trying my best to reply in such a way to convey my rp that I was moving so slow that alrucus caught me in dwarf forest (I beat him off and he worded, no resist, no spellbane).
My first point (was there one?) is this. You join Battle to do BATTLE. When a GOD OF BATTLE talks to you, you drop what you are doing. If you were a Barbarian Berserker warrior, and you heard the voice of Odin speak in your head, would you not drop just about everything to talk to that voice? I think so.
My second point is this.
I saw the imm talking to me as a perfect opportunity to show my rp. To let my rp known to an imm of the cabal so that all my actions from there on out would seem connected by a thread. I saw it as a golden opportunity to show myself as NOT just part of a dumbass pking herd. Kellyn could have looked at it like this. Did he? no. He just looked at it as the imms wanting to fuck him over.
Two kinds of people in the world, those who see opportunity, and those who see themselves getting fucked in the ass. Most of us have a bit of both irl, but ic ragers should be the former, not the latter.
