I would go and pray a few times (around five mins between each) making up each pray on the spot so it didnt look cookie cutter formed.

After a while, if I got no answer, I would talk to the perpetuim, and go out and rp with anyone possible, maybe rank once, then after a while I would go back a pray a few more times, never praying the same thing twice. I would go out and rp again for a while, perhaps rank once, and then go back and talk to the perpetuim again before I had to go for the night.

but that kind of pattern fit with my char's roles...that should be the decideing factor.
