I deleted for very IC reasons. He wasn't going to sit around at level 47 until his old age crept up on him... he had a very RP'ing reason to want to Lich as soon as possible. It was a roleplay that developed after a mob-death to an Immortal run mob (mental note: be as explicit as possible when aiming spells as an Immortal might take it into their head to bring along a mob with the same keyword as the one you're casting on). I didn't exactly relish the idea of deleting a month's worth of work, but I really couldn't have respected myself in the morning if I gave in :P
