I can explain his name, if anyone is interested.
It is a medieval Russian male name. It consists
of two parts: "svyat" means "holy", "polk" means
"legion" (approximately).

I don't believe it is a character assassination,
as it is indeed a name. Once you understand what it
means, it is much easier to type it:
Svyatopolk, svyatopolk, sVYATOPOLK, SVYATOpolk, svyatopolK
