Different gods look for different things, but I would say generally, if you're praying for religios reasons be in the gods shrine and pray something to the effect of.

pray Mighty Ares, God of War I humbly seek an audience with you.

This lets you know that you're praying to Ares as the God of War, and not the god of Anger or whatever sphere he might have and just lets him know that you'd like to talk. Also the tone is respectful, flattering, and humble as Ares was known as a jealous, angry god who like to mess with mortals for pleasure. Then wait about 5-7 minutes for Ares to free himself up from whatever he's doing and examine who you are, read your role, description, etc. If you don't hear anything for about 10 minutes go play for about 30-45 minutes and realize that you've just called the attention of a god upon you. If you just go quit, and the God was just too busy to talk at that moment, its not going to be easy to deal with you. After 30-45 minutes repeat the cycle. Its very possible that the God isn't around at all, but if you pray every 5 minutes you're annoying every other Immortal out there.

If you're praying for Cabal reasons, it should be

pray Mighty Ares, Lord of Battle, I seek an audience.

But if you're going to do this to whine about a master scourging you to death, I'd remember that showing weakness to Ares is likely to prove unpleasant. I would recommend you do this either from your Cabal or the god's shrine.

If you're praying OOC, don't put a gods name in it. This includes, suspected cheaters, dropped-links during PK's, spammers, etc. If you've found a bug you can use the Bug command or write a note. If you've found a Typo there is a typo command and you can write a note. Ideas, ditto. If you're praying to complain about ANYTHING, I would suggest a note. If you're complaining about treatment from a cabal (INCLUDING ARBITERS!) don't interact with Immortals, write a note to that cabal and realize that all immortals involved with that cabal will realize it.

In the event you felt you were mistreated by the Immortals write a detailed, polite note to the Imps.

I think that covers most things. Enjoy the Fields.

> Is it casually ... is it formal ... a mix of both. Is it a heap of "oh blessed one..." or "can I talk to you out the back". I would really like to see some examples if possible.( by elites would be even better.)
