For those who don't know me well enough to know this, I'm a music guy. On February 13th 1960, Ella Fitzgerald gave a concert in the Deutschelandhalle in Berlin. I happen to love the recording of this concert, and in particular, Ella's scat solo on a tune called "Mack the Knife." The lyrics go something like this:
Oh, the shark has
Perfect teeth, dear
And he shows them
Pearly whites.
Just a jack knife
Has MacHeath, dear
And he keeps it
Out of sight.
It's all about an old German burglar... those people telling you those lies about the Threepenny Opera can bite me. :P
