Quotting Sevietrem:
You tell Sevietrem 'And how an oath, bloodoath as you call it, can be protected or even harmed?'
Sevietrem tells you 'A bloodoath should not be left to die or led to a meaningless death by any citizen to do so is an act of treason'
Sevietrem tells you 'The oathed should not be abused in anyway for they are the building blocks that we lean on to strengthen the Empire.'
What this pact says, in other words, is that the oath the mage made is worth of nothing, that he will be left to die along with his oath and screw Empire for in the end it will be weakened. Nice pact, the anti-empire people should love it!
