Are duergar a clear number one.
Second is fire giants.
Third are humans.
Fourth is a drow
and last is half-elf.
I have played all of them but the drow, and it seems my duergar did well. The learning is not that bad, and detect hiddent is just *THE* thing.
Fire giants are okey, but hell, I just don't have that kind of time to learn. Around level 20 it just gets plain boring failing that spell.
Humans are, as always, okey. The low range and no vourns are always nice.
Drows are fun, sneaking and all. They learn fast and are good PK'ing in the right hands. As a first AP, it's no no. Any class can get mitril and kick the living shit out of you.
Half-elves - Well, I played one to level 42. She learned very fast, mastered all her spells ect. But she had about 40% the hp og her duergar/giant counterpartners, combined that with the iron-thing. You do the math. It just sucked getting killed with one DB.
My advice, Duergar.
