no way. shapeshift is plain boring and annoying to perfect, and you need to perfect it to explore efficiently. You may as well con die your other trannie first exploring.
also while we are at it, porcupines probably make better explorers than offensive majors.
Now you dont know if you are going to get a porcupine (defense major) but offense majors need help in taking most reasonable ranked mobs in the game, cos you simply get hit too often. There arent all that many mobs with weapons that can really hurt porcupines.
If you chose defense major and got one of the other forms, you may be stuffed though.
