Thror, you aren't a bad roleplayer overall -
a bit on the cocky side, but you've got a good
character outline. What I don't understand is
why you wouldn't want to kick some ragers
out these days for being idiots. Courage is
equated with sitting at the altar until there's
a bunch of battleragers? An Arbiter (who will
remain nameless) said to me today that all a
lot of Battleragers he fights in the mid-ranges
sit at the altar and hope for someone to raid
the giant, so they can gangbang them. Whatever
happened to even combat within the
Battleragers? It seems like a pretty easy trip
throughout the ranks. Don't get me wrong, I've
had hero ragers, and died enough to know what
the cabal is about. Sure, they've got numbers,
but they're overpowered when they've got the
item (which is all the time, given that their
cabal guardian is the strongest by far and
they've been filled with idiots looking for
an easy ride, which is what is happening) and
completely powerless when they don't have the
item (which is nearly never).
Perhaps you should get your head out of your
ass and listen to what people have to say when
they make points about ragers that you
disagree with, since talking to you OOC seems
like banging one's head against a brick wall
- say nothing bad about your pet cabal,
and sure, you start saying people are
wonderful, especially if they're ragers.
If people disagree, you turn a blind eye,
even when they're right some of the time, or
you start flaming them. Amazingly, most of
the time you don't even bother defending them
during the off time I see you on IRC or in
here.
Why not looking at it from the other side?
Right now, why don't *YOU* play a mage, or
something that is underdog, instead of
assuming the Battleragers can do no wrong?
Why not see for yourself the idiots in
Battle (who, again, will remain nameless,
no character assassination for me). Instead,
you seem content with sitting on your ass
and spouting the same bullshit time and time
again, that Battleragers aren't overpowered,
that it's that people don't know how to fight
them, etc. or that Battleragers aren't
breaking the rules nearly as much as Giddion
and Rezkirat did on Aradan. Come on. Battle
gangbangs, cowers (even with their powers),
and looks for every opportunity to be like the
Empire.
I'm not going to say what Battleragers are
supposed to be, but the glory of battle is
one of those phrases that comes to mind when
thinking about them. The way you're leading
them right now, you're doing a sad job. Keep
at it, you're making the mud a less fun place
to play in.
