For most mages the problem is holding people long enugh to finish them of. As an Invoker it's even worse, very few spells lag the target. I would run to Sentryn and get a mino. This is a good friend, that likes head-butting and lagging people. Just make sure to hand him a seashell-ring or some other boat-like device.
