Thanks.. It's not my first mage, I've played every class that can be EVIL. So I've been all of the Mages, except a serious Necromancer or Invoker.. I've had a few heroes, and gotten most of my characters to the mid 40s... I know that every character has a "dry period" but I didn't expect it to hit this early. I know it'll be worth it, and I have the time to invest..

Like you said about Assassins, yeah they are DEFINITELY loners. They can do very well by themselves. I think they were a little better before their spells were taken away in certain regards, but the new skills they learned are unmatched. Anyone who beats on you in the teen ranks as an Assassin PAYS in the 20s and 30s once you get your nice tiger claw and assassinate, etc.

> from my experiences of playing necromancers, i have had the same problems. necromancers are kind of the loaners of the classes (except assassins maybe). there is not much to do about groups, and learning is a bitch. But this is the best part about necromancers, as when you remember a certain ap or warrior who laughed at you when you asked to group and you are then standing over his corpse with your own group of the dead or even maybe killed him/her with just a couple of words. yes, it is hard playing a necromancer hence the warning by others not to play them as your first mage, but it has it's rewards
