Dex isn't that big of a factor when you don't get dodge... The ac helps a lot at lower levels, but flurries from the sword specs who get jewelleds to re-eq will hurt... The only Necro I ever had was a Drow, but that was cause I had a neat role in mind... Anyway, if you can stay with a Drow, neat, it's fun to be different, but the nature of the Necro class kinda negates the Drow advantages (pets kinda kill sneak).
