Changing the password to something he told you to change it to merely let him know what your password was. As for getting kicked off, CF is coded to only allow one person to play a character at a time, and usually when someone is lagging and loses their link, CF may not immediately recognize this, so when you reconnect, it disrupts the other person. So essentially, his knowing your password was what kicked you off and it treated his logging in as you just reconnecting from lag. Grallon is right, though.. he most likely has already changed your password.
