Hearing while asleep-- does this make sense?:

You're put to sleep, knocked out, etc. And then you call for backup. Or you stumble onto a bard, they sing you to sleep, and then they sing some more loading you up on songs. If you are asleep, should you be affected by those songs? You can't hear them. And if you are jacked, or slept, should you be able to use any sort of talk channel to tell people where you are? It seems like this would easy enough to implement that when you are forced unconscious-- note forced, not willfully going to sleep. That you should temporarily lose cabal or group chat. And you shouldn't be able to be affected by songs, it's not like spells being cast on you, as far as I know it's dependant on whether or not you can hear. Does anyone else think this is something that would be a good change?
