Haha, no.. I just respect them a great deal. I posted somewhere on this board that I have my own MUD that I coded from the ground up.. handles spells/skills/everything completely differently than this one, but the same process is true with any game being made.. I have a team of people and we sit down and throw out ideas, or just when someone says something stupid glance over at them with a look of "God yer an idiot" on our faces... Hundreds upon hundreds of hours of wasted ideas.... So like, yeah, the Immortals aren't really gods, but in a way I worship them. *not worthy not worthy*

(just being overly dramatic) :-D

> > I agree completely. The Immortals are "real life human beings that make mistakes"... But, they think everything through extremely well and in fact I happen to think that the overpowering/underpowering is done on purpose. Like I said in this post originally, every class has their most powerful time... That is Immortal design. The jist of my reply was... "If you're not the strongest you will be in your lifetime, expect to have to run from fights.. and learn from it."

Sometimes little things slip through the cracks that they don't foresee. Im not saying that I agree that liches are overpowered, Im just saying that sometimes all the bitching and whining on the forum do have legitimate concerns regarding them. Here's just a few examples...tesseract, charm person, shapeshift/hold person (back when all muters had both of em), conjurers when they were first implemented....Im sure the list can go on and on
