Onyx Scarab (Cyradia) members have the spheres Strength and Destruction.

Ruby Scarab (Scarabaeus) members have the spheres Purity and Truth.

You can probably guess that the emphasis of each is slightly different (which used to be true even in how I used to pick Destruction vs. Purity followers), despite being part of the same organization.

Oddly enough I never wrote a new helpfile after my old religion helpfile got absorbed by HELP SCARAB. So, I understand the confusion.
