Don't count on a character being so stacked that your stuff can not make a contribution, I have even been fully looted wearing nothing but newbie leather from the mud school. Of course, I was an a-p and he was a paladin, so I expected nothing back.

A character kills another because they are MORTAL ENEMIES. Now unless you are a Balgrimnite, or some other sort of Honor/respect guy, it is well within your role to do everything you can to keep that enemy down, ie. full loot/sac.
