It has been removed from the Official Site, after being non-functional for months. It's the one script I'd like to see back, but I haven't heard any plans to do so. For more detail on why I think this: ../messages/20580.html.

Yes.

See: ../messages/17795.html. For more: F-Search "ranged".

Why? Sure, it might be nice, but I'd rather see something a little more unique and a little less Tolkien. "Needed" is a strong word. What would hobbits and orcs bring to CF?

> For thieves, another skill, cut-throat, thieves are also murderers, this would be a skill very similar to assassinate. One swoft stroke with a dagger instantly killing the victim, and not allowing them to yell for help if missed, because someone behind you cannot always be seen.

Should we give assassins dual backstab and blackjack as well? After all, they are murderers.

The classes are rather nicely varied in their approaches. If you look at recent revamps (assassins, invokers, conjurers, paladins), one of the strongest endorsements of each is that they truly added something new to CF, and not just copied it from somewhere else. And the -last- thing CF needs is more "instant kill" abilities. Assassinate is nicely balanced. Leave it for the assassins.
