Especially since it says right at the top of the page specifically not to do this.

> considering the fact _almost every_ single immortal knows about their locations before they get put there by the imm who made them know of it, and the people they tell in the #carrionfields; @CF rooms on IRC, their friends they tell.

Ah, yes. The vast IMM conspiracy theory. I somehow doubt that IMMs are broadcasting wand locations over IRC. I also think that most IMMs play CF for reasons other than "winning".

> The "elitists" so to speak find out from the immorts themselves, or they happen to be the leader of that cabal at the time one of the imms are in one, and help get one of the wands for the imms char. That elitist tells his friend elitists *points directly to IRC*.

1) Yes, people can use IRC to cheat. People could also use the Forum to cheat, but the VIP staff has decided upon certain rules so this does not happen.

2) "That person over there cheated" is not an excuse to cheat yourself.

3) I have never logged on to IRC. Take your accusations elsewhere.

Sure.

Yes, he showed horrible discretion. No, I do not approve of the way that person broadcasted who he was playing. It changed the landscape of Thera, because his friends flocked to his side.

None of this, of course, is any reason to cheat yourself.

> Abernyte sais his chars name, which was a villager as well.
> do I need to continue?

No, because I don't doubt that people can choose to use IRC to cheat. It's not a contested point.

> It also trickles down to you VIP's, which I am betting are a part of the imm staff.

It doesn't. We're not. We help manage a web site, genius. Any other fucking guesswork?

> To keep it among you people, the rare limited no locate wands, you dont want it posted so you have that extra edge against everyone and their brothers.

I had never come across a single barrier wand before you blabbed. I know where two sources of aura, two sources of shield, and several other handy prep spells are, but I'm not nearly as omnipotent as you make me out to be. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE, I found in the game. Some by careful searching, some by watching where other characters go when they aren't fighting, and checking the rooms they just checked.

Some CFers play by the rules, Laerik. If you accuse me of otherwise, I will fight to clear my name every single time.

> your massive ego is on a powertrip.
> makes me wonder if you werent spanked enough when you were a kid.

Why? Because I said "Laerik, you broke a rule. Stop."? Now who's being childish? You use a web site that Dioxide created, and the VIP staff helps him manage. It is all provided for you for free, and kept as current as possible. Don't be a fucking ingrate and fail to heed to very few restrictions we ask for. You've been warned, Laerik.
