Cabal items should be regular items that stick wherever they were when the game crashed.

I just know the goddam head is going to be back in the village, just like the goddam equation was back in the circle last night after I took it.

If it's on a person when it crashes, it should be on that person when it comes back on. It certainly should stick through a crash if it's already been placed in an altar, I have no idea why the equation returned to the circle last night.
