If we actually did build what you asked....

*Beladorizid stomps into the Market glaring around menacingly. Grabbing citizens at random, he screams into their face, "Where is my idol!", "What have you done with it!" Throwing the terrified citizens to the ground, he turns east and rushes from the gate*

*ProudBlade, also seeking the idol, turns to confront Beladorazid. He swings his sword, but can't seem to inflict any damage. He instead blocks the gate just before you get there.*

*Beladorizid pushes ProudBlade out of his way, yammering endlessly without a point*

*ProudBlade says "No, you didn't.". He still has the gate.*

*Beladorazid travels down the Eastern Road, seeking the God of Pudding.*

*ProudBlade yells "Come back here, I stopped you at the gate. See? It says so right above.*

(etc.)

It sounds to me like you want a "safe room" within CF where you can tak all you want, and plan quests and such, and have no enemies who could stop you or interfere. C'mon. If your character has some deep story, I'm sure you can think of IC ways to make it known.

Ever hear of bards? The Pen skill? Conversation? Waiting for Troupe events so a lot of people are gathered? Working something into the upcoming wake? Convincing an IMM to title you "Beladorazid the Swordpupil, Seeker of the Idol" through convincing and stellar roleplay? Petitioning the Lyceum?

Sheesh.

Reputations should be made or broken in the game.

> Aye, there as well certainly. I had just thought that with this avenue in place as well, some of us could expose certain character concepts to a larger group of people, and maybe with that sort of venue, some very skilled rp'rs could find a wealth of ways to expand.

> Now that is just of the top of my head, but it allows him to RP, and adds a nuance to the "plot" of his character, and also allows more people, who perhaps would have heard these "rumors" the chance to absorb this knowledge, and perhaps use it to interact with Beladorizid, where they might not have in the past. I know my example isn't perfect, but I thought it might also give newer players a chance to see what some people are capable of, and maybe add a touch of inspiration.
