"Deserve" to know the status of the MUD? Why the hell do you "deserve" to? Are you a paying customer? Do the CF immortals have a legally binding contract with you that you SHALL be able to play a free game which others put time and effort into on your whim, because you are indeed special?

Grow up. The game is down, and most of aren't sure why though there are a few rumours. It'll be up when the IMMs can get it up, and not when you demand it.
