True, it is free, and we can't demand to be kept informed. But, it it too hard for an immortal 'in the know' to post a note? They know that we are dying to find out what the problem is. They know we probably check the board 20 times a day, try to log on 30 times a day, and check in IRC just as often to find out what's going on. When an IMP can't find the 22 seconds it would take to let us know what's up, I take offense. We are a community here. Next time an immort whines that they put in so much work for us, I'll ask why they couldn't put in the 22 seconds to let us know CF status. (Am I insinuating that they don't do it all for us as they self-rightiously claim but for their own enjoyment? Hmm...) (And no, I don't expect to be updated whenever CF is down -though that wouldn't be hard- but it has had severe problems for quite some time now as you well know.)
