I don't think we should even try to "forget" that such and such a weapon lies in a closet here, or that such and such a mob will kill me on sight. Because that is really what your saying here, if you want a fair and balanced code of "forgetfulness" I truly want to see a chaotic character of yours try to walk of the south gate of NT at first rank, "just to explore" There will never be a balance between new players and old, because even if you take away our knowledge of items, lands, creatures etc. We will still know what attacks to make in what situations, and when to use/or not use them. It is instinctual. New players grow up and become veterans, or they leave. I personally like to see them grow up.
