Go with something interesting.
To hell with PK, it's the RP that makes this game rock!
My favorite char to play was a (Storm(STELF!),Paladin)
Funny accent (damn I miss that), didn't use iron, RPed up the wazoo...it was a hoot!
Most fun I've ever had on this MUD.
And that's even with the 250 hrs. waiting for empowerment (extenuating circumstances),
and only ranking up to the high 30's before autodeleting (extended RL situations can be nasty on gameplay).
She never did get into any cabal, but was definately a Sylvan char at heart.
Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that "fun" isn't based on race/class/cabal at all....
just pick something, put some thought into it, make it interesting to play,
and make sure the CHARACTER is FUN for YOU to play.
