The Bladesong may be something real, and yet it may not. It may be a prize for a quest, or just a role to play. No one is sure, except those who are (or claim to be) bladesingers. There is no information on it at all outside of the game except for speculation and rumors. Information may be found in the game, but you must search for it.

If it even does exist, I doubt races other than elves can get it. Look at the Forgotten Realms. Of all the people in Faerun, there is only one person who is not an elf who knows the Bladesong, and he is a Masked Lord of Waterdeep. The Bladesong is something that elves guard. It is more than just a method of attack; it is ritual, and spiritual, and not to be made public knowledge.
