While I don't necessarily object to Eric's idea, I do this one. Given I haven't had a newbie in awhile now, and I haven't witnessed any fall in RP. But I for one would probably leave if I had to have everyone one of my characters evalutated just so I might play. I'm not saying I am a spectacular rp'r but I never let me say that again.. NEVER break character..sometimes I may be boring and bland. It would seem an insult to me to have to have everyone one of my characters approved before I can play them. I also NEVER have a complete role written before I play the character...nor a description. I start the character, as I play him I get a feel for him.. start the role between level 3-7 and try to flesh it out a bit before getting into pk range. My desc always goes in before level 10, but never at level 1. If I don't like the way the character plays, or if I get bored. why waste all that time writing a good desc for a char I am just going to throw away.. it takes me a few levels before I decide if I even want to play him. But alas.. I am rambling now...my point is.. I think a lot of players would leave if something like this was implemented.
Just my opinions of course...
