All of the following Leaders of Battle should follow the first two rules of being a cabal leader:
1. NEVER, EVER, EVER, GO TO WAR WITH THE ARBITER CABAL!!! EVER!!
Im mean jeese, after what happened to empire during the last arbie war, you would think people would realize that. An Arbie war is basically the CF equivilant of an "atom bomb" because you WILL LOOSE every time.
Yeah, you can get away with taking the book now and them to "protest" an "injustice" but to continually do so and slay arbiters seconds after they unghost is just stupid, short-sighted, and asking for an ass-whooping.
He who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it, I guess.
2. ALL CABAL LEADERS (save the Emperor) SHOULD PUT THE WELFARE OF THEIR CABAL ABOVE THEIR OWN SELF-INTERESTS.
What really screwed battle is that their last few leaders and veterans have really screwed themselves by treating their young ones like shit, forgetting that they're destroying their own future by doing so.
You're made a cabal leader not to enrich yourself (save emperor) but to do your best job to keep your IMMs happy by keeping the cabal healthy, strong, and full of new, worthy members.
Does that mean you coddle and pamper everyone? Hell no, that breeds weakness, but when Battle Leaders, veterans and heroes do shit like take the codex to have one or two new ragers GUARANTEED DEATH by those 6 recovering Imperials is just stupid.
Who cares if it's in their "role" to do so? If you're an IMM and you see some leader destroying your cabal, how long would you let that shit go on?
In closing, Battle powers are great, some say a little too great. The problem with battle has not been weakness of powers or Honor, it's been this Arbie war and having self-centered, short-sighted, ignorat jackasses for leaders who shoot themselves in the foot.
Think about it. Who fucked battle up more, the arbs or Minalcar?
Battle self-destructed, it really wasn't destroyed.
