As I started to say, the reason this wouldn't change anything is that all it would do is allow people to spam get limited objects...without looking at the corpse. Which means both killer and victim's group could do basically what is done now...ie the get all. corpse, and hope that they get something of value. (the example I was typing above was going to illustrate this...then I decided it was kinda pointless, then accidently posted...so was forced to write this anyway). If you're killing someone because you want a specific piece of thier gear, then when they die grab it quick....if you're killing someone for clash of beliefs, (you know...really roleplaying why you're killing them), then be joyous in the victory...and any loot you get is a secondary.
