> 1. I plan to specialize polearm and * Well, I think this is a good choice. The defencive skill that comes with a polearm specialization is Distance. Distance is strength based, so with the fire giant's 25 strength, that will help. Also, in my opinion hand-to-hand is one of the best second spec choices for polearm specs. I feel this way, because with all of my polearm warriors, the cause of my death was 95% due to loss of my weapon. But with h2h, there is still a good chance for victory, or at least a safe get away. * Lots of people choose axe for fire giants due to the massive damage potential. I've never played a fire warrior very high, so I don't know too much about it. *hmm, nothing off the top of my head. > (btw, do you people _really_ have all * heh, yes. > 2. In lieu of above - what's the difference * Well, I find legsweep to do more damage, such as hits or wounds, while trip does only graze or scratch. I think when leg sweep is perfected, you hit more often with it as well. not certain about that though. * As long as I've been playing (at least with whips), they have always been able to be parried, although, I havn't been playing THAT long.. > 4. Lastly, perfecting my skills. What is the * Well, I generally try to have it perfected before rank 10. Just find a large group of low rank mobs that you can tank, and that are able to take a fair bit of damage. Be sure to remove any +dam gear so you don't kill them too quick. * Hmm, lots of people RP, the quality of RP generally varries from cabal to cabal, and time to time. (eg. Rager RP quality was pretty bad in their prime, and now the horrid RP award is going to be givin back to empire) I find this because most people who are just in it for PKing and such, will join the more powerful cabals, while other people who wish to RP more and have a different sort of fun, join up with the underdogs. (side note: Yes, there are exceptions, not every rager 3 weeks ago was a bad RPer just as every imperial now isn't either.) Also, RP tends to be more vibrant in cabals such as Troupe, Dawn and Masters. (Side note: Again, exceptions to this rule apply as well). > * Not a problem. I hope some of this helped. If you have anything else you want to know, or something is unclear or 'unsatisfactory' as to what I said, post here again, or e-mail me (address at top there).
