Hmm..ORB, the ideas got me thinking a bit. 1. Kneecap - I dislike the idea of giving a thief anything that would cause massive damage even if enhanced damage and dual backstab were removed. I do however like the potential of this skill. I can see the move/dex loss and it would perhaps cause a move lag as well. A thief could use it to escape or use it offensively to move lag/ knife the foe. By a move lag I mean it would cause the opponent a moment to begin moving once he entered his direction command. This would be a short lag for a short span. 2.Gut Shot - seems more of aan assassian ability to me. 3.Gag - I like it alot. Inventive and something a true thief would do. Instead of a seperate skill combine it with bind and alter bind to also do hands, making it more difficult to strike or defend with yourself. 4.Band of Thuggs - Must say I like this one also but not sure how I could see it altered. Perhaps not have them knife for it seems a bit strong, but damned the idea is cool and very fitting for a well known thief. Well anyways thats my view on ye ideas and I hope my imput helps. If not of well just thought I would give it a go. I always like to see new ideas posted and I think it helps the Imms to see things like this fielded. > 1.Kneecap- Using the mace the thief can cause massive pain to a victim by smashing thier kneecap. -6 dex and a 20% loss in movement. > 2.Gut shot- While using a sword or mace and dagger, the thief parries an attack with the sword/mace and while the defenses are down, attempts to gut his foe with his dagger. causes massive damage and long term bleeding. > 3.Gag- the thief can bind a persons mouth while they are unconcious, making them unable to speak or cast. str check to unbind it. > 4.Band of thugs-Near the pinacle of thier careers, grandmaster thieves start to attract followers. When in a town or city the thief can call 1-4 thieves depending on thier charisma and skill level. These thieves would not rescue, but would aid the thief in combat, knifing the foe. They would also steal gold from those around them giving 75% of it to the thief. It is rumored that thieves the more a thief has stolen, the larger his prestige, and the more thieves he can call upon. Also these thieves wouldn't do much damage, besides from the knifing, and have low health.
Bind then would have a chance to do hands/feet/eyes(blindfold)/mouth. With gag no cabal tells, tell, or yells.

> Swords would work more often then daggers.
