This is the description of a feather of levitation...

The feather is half the length of a human arm. Brown tipped in gold it floats through the air. With a touch you feel your body raise just above the surface of the ground.

Now, as you know, this is idealy used for a boat.. but you're not actually 'flying' as the description would lead you to believe. This can easily be proven by going to one of the Towers in Galadon on the Battlements and trying to move in any direction, you'll be told, 'You can't fly.'

My question: Does this 'feather' help in any way combat-wise? Or is it strictly a misleading description and just is a useful item to substitute a boat?
