I have had several characters that I had an Idea for that I ended up Playing another way. I have had roles that came easy to as character but I felt his name didn't fit the role...delete delete. I have had characters that had awesome stats and seemed to excel in game mechanics BUT I broke role in so I deleted. What I started to do is (for myself here!) carry two characters. One for good moods and one for bad. when I'm kinda Pissy I'll play one and when I'm creative I'll play another. Another thing I try to do is stay away from things I ca 't win. By this I mean for instance know what a Maran is I don't talk shit about them. I ask. I listen I nod my head and I take what I learn and toss it to another player (character actually) and see how they react then I react to what ever differences there are. For me I typicaly role play an ignorant newbie for the first 15 ranks or so. I can rank to 25 inside of 7 hours BUT I don't know shit about any of the cabals. So chances are if you've played with a goodie or a neutral that ranks you fast as hell in the beging and whi doesn't seem to know one thing about theran politics it is me. Also I don't PK unless attacked In wich case I will do my damndest to con death my attacker. That whole Wiccan thing you know? So I avoid them. The Only Religion I like is Amaranthe's but I can admire Balgrimnr's and understand the Battle rager concept though I wonder if Some of them have themselves lost sight of it. I tend to play we characters as opposed to me character in that I like to help other players thougfh at time I admit I get a bit selfish especialy when I'm close to a rank. Thats me, I go for attention with out seeming to for the most part. In other worsds I try to be unobtrusive. tired making coffee. Eric Prothero Brewer Patriot
i've noticed still to this vcery date that know matter how much people bitch about cokie cutters that fuckers still playbattle one of a handful of ways and Sylvan and The Empire is the Empire . Masters I feel were fine before that whole nature magic thing. (Silly) In fact I'd like an Imm to call me on that one.
