Once again, if you mean Zorszaul, doing this (And it can be done) won't do much. His protection is so good that he's going to be hitting you a lot harder than you hit him.
Remember, he fights like a warmaster (note: I didn't say "War Master").

Other liches are no problem (compared to Z).
Its all preparation.
