Immortals are not professors at college. We do not have office hours. Most of the Immortals have jobs, family and any other number of things that can take up our time. I could say I'll be around 5pm to 8pm on alternate Mondays and the likelyhood that I stick to that schedule is close to nil. I play when I have time, as do I'm sure most of the rest of the Immortals.

> Or do as i suggest long long ago, have a orb or icon or statue in their shrines, and make the statue glow then are on, and if you "look statue", when they are not on it would tell you that it has been so many, elven hours since they loged on.

There is an easy way to tell if Immortals are on. They are visible. If they are not visible, they are usually busy coding, writing areas, watching for cheaters, etc. What does this mean? It means that sometimes they'll take a break to talk to a potential empoweree. What else does it mean? They are busy, and might not.

> Im getting tired of wasteing even more time trying to catch the ever illusive immortals :)p

I'm getting tired of someone triggering my shrine guardian, sitting there for 30 seconds then dropping link, am I going to talk to this guy next time he does this? Doubtful. I'll probably let him stew and see if he does this over and over.

> just as a example i really wanted to talk with a certain imm, I dont know his playing times at all. so i played almost 24 hours s day for almost a week so i would hopefully catch him. Praying once a hour for almost a whole week and nothing. Sure It could be bad luck that i didnt see him, but haveing something of the sort that i suggested above might aid the players greatly and wouldnt hurt the imms privacy.

24 hours a day for almost a week. I doubt it, but I'll take you at your word. What time of year is it? That's right. Vacation time. Lots of people take it now, school just got out, days are beautiful, people don't want to stay inside. I'm inclined to think bad luck myself.

Everything you've suggested to "find" Immortals does nothing but defeat the purpose of going invisible. I understand you want to know whether or not an immortal is around or not. The problem is, even if all of your suggestions were put in (which I can pretty much guarantee they won't) it wouldn't change the behavior of many immortals. As I said earlier, when I'm visible, I'm ready, willing and able to talk to mortals. When I'm invisible, I'm busy doing other things, or am not paying close enough attention to converse with a mortal (read semi-afk).
