Combat wise.. utility is strictly middle of the road. I don't mean 'a good combination of defense and offesen', I mean (useing Shok's analogy) 'ugly 1996 neon'. Offense shreds the living fuck out of your opponents, and still does okay for defense. It has to; it's a fighting form. Now some offensive forms do better than others.... but that's another thread, and you can't control what you get anyway. Defense frustrates your opponents. Porcupine hurts them more than they hurt you (usually), armadillo laughs at the crowd of hasted shadar lunn zombies, and the mongoose is responsible for more thrown monitors than Microsoft. Well, maybe not Microsoft. Utility is for, uh, utility. It fights *okay*, better than an badly equipped bad hero fighter class, and it can take its turn with the mobs, but it's made for more of a challenge. I'm sure Nepenthe has 98 ways to PK with a utility, but it's not for just any dumb fuck with a murder trigger and an ugly girlfriend. Where was I going with this.. I don't know.. go ask a utility major... I'm busy trying to rationalize the mystical concept of the one awareness (I know, I know, you can't by definition rationalize it shut up)....
