Any time somebody says that "I see suchandsuch as being like this" and then believes that everybody should feel that way makes me ill.

I'm talking about your first full paragraph of course where you proceed to tell us what you think a battlerager has to be.

I can think of several roles where the rager wouldn't even have to necessarily "hate" magic. They wouldn't use it of course, and they would kill any magi they came across, but to apply the word "hate" to their beliefs would be something that they couldn't tolerate. I also don't see ragers as necessarily having to be these enraged warriors that rush into any battle without an ounce of thought, who speak in monosyllabic versions of Thror-speak using words that avoid the use the letters "q", "z", and "x". I can easily think of several roles where the rager might be more noble than a savage, perhaps even honorable in a haughty snob kind of way.

As far as "rank sitting" to practice weapons is concerned, none of you have any right to bitch about it. You've all probably sat at whatever rank to practice something before and coming down on a warrior for wanting his second spec skills perfected is like coming down on an invoker for wanting his shield perfected. A warrior is only as good as his weakest spec. If they sit there for months on end as an elf warrior that could've had his specs perfected in an hour, yes you have a right to call them out, otherwise you're just being an ass.

And besides, sitting at 40th isn't even that smart, all you need is one smart human necro and pretty soon he's got enough corpses of 40th rank ragers to make Zorszaul's Blademaster zombie army blush with embarrasment.
