It ain't easy to rank.
It ain't easy to deal with your cabalmates.
It ain't easy to deal with your Immortals.
(It *is* easy to PK).
Only do a human empire necro if you've a strong independent streak, decent "people skills" (over the internet), a permagroup, and/or a good working knowledge of the game. These will compensate for my three not easy's.

Oh, and make a commitment to stick with the char *no matter what* for 300 hours.

Otherwise you'll burn out and die young (like most necros).
