> I think it would be cool if when you died, you came back as a ghost like you do when you die of old age. The only way for you to become corporeal again is to have someone cast 'resurrection' on you. I think this would promote more RP in that if you died, you would have to walk around and convince someone to cast resurrect upon you. It would mean that if your friends aren't on, you would have to interact with others in order to "live" again. Now, the only problem I can see with it is that ragers would be screwed since they can't have a supplication communed on them, so I suggect that defenders get a power called 'spirit recall' which would cause the dead ragers' spirit to return to a mortal shell and live once again. Healers and druids would get the supplication 'resurrect' which would bring the character back to life. And since evil healers are rare, we would have to give necro's a spell called 'imbue life' but as a downside to the necro's having this spell, it takes away half of their max hit points to cast it, so you will really have to strike a good bargain with them to have them cast it on you. I know, everyone will think this idea sucks, but I thought it was more realistic than suddenly appearing at the altar in a new body and would further promote rp and character interaction. It would be cool to see all of these people walking around rattling chains asking for a resurrection. Also, I think that if this idea were to be implemented, it would not incorporate the newbies, they would still get a free body at the altar until they reach 11th level.
