Eagle is quick, and centrally located, always get the eagle, not having the level 35 beast to mess with, and it dodges well in a fight. Sure its not as powerful as say a polar bear, or the falcon, pack of wolves, the one eyed ogier, wolverine etc..., but its right there, quick easy to call, and your on your way. So when I'm in need of a quick callofthewild, I'll take the eagle if I need something fast that hits hard. Oooh and as for almost useless, have you seen the feral dog yet thalen?

To get a beast around 45 or 50+, do you have to be a higher rank, or can you call something that level at rank 38. Curious, as if it's chance I'm getting the wolves and such (bah), or it's some mechanic that I can't get higher pets until a certain level.
