Able to draw runes on items like
sacks (makes them lockable)
armor (better AC, at higher ranks have magical effects {helms of brilliance etc})
weapons (better hit dam, magical effects)
and draw runes upon themselves, healing, giant strength, haste etc
runes in the air for damage spells
runes on the opponents for damage/ailments

(read the books of the DeathGate series for the Haplo character...yeah yeah they don't compare with the other books that people here brag about but...)
