discern yes, it tells how long the spell is in effect, IF you have a high enough skill level in discern. At first, all you can tell is what is affecting them. When you reach about 80-85% or so (can't remember exactly cause it's been so long since I've had a scout that was that skilled in it), you can tell whether the spell/supplication/power is affecting them for a long, medium, or short duration. When it reaches 90-100% (or thereabouts), you can tell exactly how long it'll last. One thing to note, though. Discern spell is just about as much a pain in the ass to perfect as cheapshot, so if you want to perfect it, I suggest you buy a comfy computer chair first, because you're going to be sitting for a LONG time.
