Agreed they arent quite a powerful as the major ones. Lets go through the list. Water: Sea Snake, Snapping Turtle Sea snake can tank like a fiend, and does amazing damage. Offense: Boar, Wolf Boar isnt the best but its better than nothing. Remember just cause you Wolf: I remember seeing Serafim kill Ihnzurtia (duergar necro) in mortorn with a wolf. Air: Ok if any one wants to complain about minors sucking this would be the place. Hawk does great damage but has one doozy of a weakness. (Which I wont discuss) Most of you I forget the other air minor. But its even worse than hawk. Utility: Racoon, Cat Cat: It can hide, nuff said. Defense: Hare, Tortoise Hare: Danger sense, uber tank, need I say more? I have managed to tank elite storm at lvl 34-35 with hare. Tortoise: Good damage reduction, just have someone to hit from behind and you will do just fine. Thats how defensive forms work anyways. MorsGravis
But to say that lesser forms suck is kinda like saying
all invoker spells before level 38 suck. They might not
be as good as, but they definately do not suck.
Snapping Turtle has massive damage reduction and does a fair amount of damage.
have a form doesnt mean you totally give up on damage reduction items. A boar
with shield, aura, stoneskin can do fairly well. (Barrier is kind of a bitch to get)
Again play it like you are playing a mage and it will surprise you. Amazing tank, decent damage.
know what I am talking about.
I loved racoon, you never have to worry about food or water. Being able to
steal is such a god send. It does pretty good damage, but cant tank worth a crap.
The first time you steal your cabal item back from a raider makes all the pain worth it though.
