Well, first of all, I want to stress that I said the majority of Carrion Fields players, and wanted to use the term neurosis as a broad, general term.

Anyway, I doubt that you swim every day for extended periods of time to *escape* reality. While you are swimming, I doubt that you are so absorbed in the exercise that you ignore the real world, to the point where you cannot live like a normal person. I also doubt that after you swim, you are usually disoriented and frustrated. This game inhibits the mind. Each session is a long deviation way out into abnormality, then a long meander back into reality, usually accompanied by anxiety and stupefaction. This is not a sport.

You assume a lot of things in your observations that may or may not be true for people playing carrionfields...and are resorting to the feared and dreaded blanket statements. I'm not going to say you are totally and amazingly off base...there may be one or two...or even a dozen or so people who fit what you described in terms of CF and playing it. However, I being a player, can state...it does not describe all players.
